The Season
Boog (Martin Lawrence), a domesticated grizzly bear, is living the good life. His life is awesome until he meets a wild deer by the name of Elliot (Ashton Kutcher). What Boog doesn't know is that his perfect life was about to be turned upside down. Boog's owner decides he would do better off living in the woods by himself so she drops him off in the mountains away from the hunting fields. Boog blames everything on Elliot. While Boog is in major distress Elliot says he can help him get back home. Boog and Elliot start home only to be trapped by the insane hunter, Shaw (Gary Sinise). Boog and Elliot gather a number of other animals to fight against the many hunters in a hilarious tale.
The Hunters and The Hunted
Ashton Kutcher and Martin Lawrence both do excellent jobs as their animated characters. Debra Messing plays Ranger Beth while Gary Sinise plays crazy hunter, Shaw. Billy Connolly, Jon Favreau, Patrick Warburton, Jane Krakowski, Matt Taylor, and Cody Cameron also play the other funny creatures in the wild. Georgia Engal and Gordon Tootoosis play the funny campers that just happen to be in the middle of everything.
Watch It
Open Season is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. This is a movie that will have you laughing out loud. It is definitely a must see movie.

Surf's Up
Surf's Up
Surf's Up is an animated movie directed by Chris Buck and Ash Brannon. It is Sony Pictures second time producing a film, the first was Open Season. Surf's Up's worldwide gross was $135,867,694, and it made over $19,214,895 in DVD sales. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day also recorded songs for the film along with some other great reggae songs.
The Document
A documentary team follows Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf), an arctic penguin, on his journey to win the Big Z Memorial Surf Contest. Cody has always dreamed of becoming a surfer ever sense Big Z himself came to Antarctica. Since Big Z's tragic death Cody has wanted to become the next legendary surfer. When a chance comes along for him to leave Antarctica and go compete in the Big Z Memorial Surf Contest, he takes the chance. Along the way Cody meets a strange chicken by the name of Chicken Joe (Jon Heder) who also surfs. Cody meets some more unusual characters along the way and also discovers the true reason for Big Z's death.
The Surfers
Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky from Transformers) does and excellent job as his animated penguin. Jon Heder also does a great job portraying his easy-going surfer chicken character from Wisconsin. Zooey Deschanel, Diedrich Bader, and Jeff Bridges all do a wonderful job as playing surfer penguins. Mario Cantone and James Woods play the surfer talent scouts. Sal Masekela from E! Entertainment Television (The Daily Ten) plays the broadcaster.
A Great Family Film
Surf's Up is a great funny film to enjoy with the whole family. My Dad doesn't usually watch animated movies (He usually gets up about 5 minutes into the movie. He's more of an action movie person). He watched the whole movie from start to finish and laughed the whole way through. If he can watch it then it has to be good. It was a really funny movie. Do you want to know if Cody will win the competition? I guess you will just have to watch the movie to find out.

A Flight Gone Wrong
A Great Action Movie
ConAir is a great action/thriller movie starring Nicholas Cage, John Malkovich, and John Cusack. It is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Simon West. The story gets its title from the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System which is an airline used to transport prisoners around the country. Trisha Yearwood recorded the song "How Do I Live" for the movie. The music in ConAir ranges from great classics like "Sweet Home Alabama"(by Lynyrd Skynyrd) to many other great songs.
The Flight
Cameron Poe (Nicholas Cage) a discharged United States Army Ranger has finally come home to his pregnant wife (Monica Potter). While defending his wife at a bar brawl Poe accidentally kills one of the men and is sentenced to 7-10 years in prison for manslaughter. While in prison Poe makes a new friend and together they are released on his daughters 7th birthday. Poe is supposed to fly home with other convicts that are supposed to be heading to another prison in Alabama. While Poe watches the deranged murderous convicts board the plane he has no idea that his flight home will turn into a fight for his life.
The Convicts
John Malkovich plays Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom, who is a serial murder sentenced to 40 years in prison and the leader of the convicts on the plane. Steve Busemi portrays the character of Garland Greene the Hannibal Lecter of the movie. Dave Chappelle, Danny Trejo, Nick Chinlund, Ving Rhames, and Mykelti Williamson play the other convicts. John Cusack plays the U.S. Marshall trying to bring the plane full of convicts back under control, and Colm Meaney plays the part of a DEA agent trying to shoot down the plane.
A Must See
If you like movies that are suspenseful as well as an action film than ConAir is the movie for you. It is rated R and they do cuss quite a bit but what would you expect from a bunch of convicts trying to escape on a plane. Other than that ConAir is a great movie and is ranked as one of my top favorite movies of all time.

She's the Man
She's the Man is a hilarious movie starring Amanda Bynes. The film was directed by Andy Fickman. The movies Box Office gross was over $33,687,630 in the United States. Hidalgo
A True Story
If you are a fan of the classic action/adventure movie, then Hidalgo is the movie for you! It is a great movie filled with action, adventure, and a little romance as you follow the true story of Frank Hopkins and his legendary horse, Hidalgo. The director was John Johnston and was written by John Fusco.
A Race Against Time
Based on a true story from 1890, American cowboy Frank T. Hopkins (Viggo Mortensen-Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy) is the first outsider or infidel to be invited by a wealthy Sheik (Omar Sharif) and his beautiful daughter, Jazira (Zuleikha Robinson) to race in the greatest long-distance horse race ever run. Hopkins was once a dispatch rider for the U.S. Cavalry and is known as the greatest long-distance rider in the West. While Hopkins is working in the Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show, the Sheik's emissary challenges him to enter the race, which he accepts. This race has been held every year for the last thousand years, and has only been open to the purest line of Arabian horses ever bred. Hopkins' horse, Hidalgo, a small mixed-breed mustang, was regarded as impure, and therefore shouldn't be in the race with purebred Arabian stallions. The `Ocean of Fire' race is a grueling 3,000-mile survival horse race across the Arabian Desert with the winner receiving $100,000 as prize money and the honor of being the best in the world. The 100-entry race is a battle of endurance and survival and only a few make it to the finish line, alive.
The Cast
The cast of Hildago includes Malcolm McDowell, Louise Lombard, J.K. Simmons, C. Thomas Howell, and Peter Mensah. The cast really does a great job portraying the Arabian characters as well as English men.

Fantastic Surfer
A New Movie
The Fantastic Four is a comic book story by Marvel Comics that was published in the early 1960s. I am a big fan of the first Fantastic Four, and when I heard that they had made a sequel to it, I just about jumped up and down with excitement.I loved this movie! It was right up there with the first Fantastic Four. Maybe there will be a third Fantastic Four?!?!?! Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is almost as great as its predecessor. with even more special effects and more uses for the Fantastic Four's powers it makes a great sequel.
The Fantastic Plot
"Invisible Woman" Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) and "Mr. Fantastic" Dr, Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) are about to be married when a mysterious alien -The Silver Surfer(Laurence Fishburne)- crashes the proceedings and heralds Earth's impending destruction by a planet eating, space monster, Galactus. With time running out, Sue and Reed, along with The Human Torch (Chris Evans) and The Thing (Michael Chikus), reluctantly team up with the returned Dr. Doom (Julian McMahon) in a thrilling effort to save the planet from total destruction.
Awesome Scenes
The scenes that contain the Silver Surfer are awesome! Laurence Fishburne does a great job as playing the Surfer. The many other characters that have parts in this movie also do very well.If you loved the first movie than you will be sure to love the new Fantastic Four movie.

Casino Royale
Casino Royale is the most recent James Bond film, but it is a remake of the first James Bond book by Ian Fleming, Casino Royale. It has a great story line and filled with modern day special effects that make this Bond movie different from all the rest.
The Royale
Casino Royale introduces James Bond (Daniel Craig) before he holds his license to kill, but Bond is no less dangerous, and with two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to "00' status. M (Judi Dench), head of the British Secret Service, sends the newly-promoted 007 on his first mission to Madagascar, the Bahamas and eventually to Montenegro to face Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a ruthless financier under threat from his terrorist clientèle, who is attempting to restore his funds in a high-stakes poker game at the Casino Royale. M places Bond under the watchful eye of the Treasury official Vesper Lynd (Eva Green). At first skeptical of what value Vesper can provide, Bond's interest in her deepens as they brave danger together. Le Chiffre's cunning and cruelty come to bear on them both in a way Bond could never imagine, and he learns his most important lesson: Trust no one.
